Danielle Frank, O.D.

Education: 
Received a bachelors of science and biology from University Kentucky in 1991.
Received a doctorate from Southern College of optometry in Memphis, TN in 1995.
Completed a residency training in ocular disease, geriatrics and low vision at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.
Returned to Lexington to join Simpson Optical in 1997

Hobbies and Interests:
Dr. Karen resides in Lexington with her husband Dr. Joe and their two chiweenies, Hank and Stella. She enjoys all family activities with her husband and son, Kyle, who also lives in Lexington.  In addition, she enjoys strength training, Pilates, tennis, participating in two bookclubs, cooking club and church club.

She completed her Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Alfred University, a liberal arts university in the foothills of the Adirondacks.  She worked in the nursing fields of general medicine, orthopedic, burn treatment, surgery, and psychiatry.
